A phased renovation of a period home in Rathmines.

The brief for this project was to transform this previously dark, cold and cramped family kitchen into a warm, bright and inviting space to cook and gather. Key to the success of this renovation was removing the central pillar that divided the space, and increasing the size of all window and door openings to allow for more light. Natural materials such as wood were chosen for the bespoke kitchen for warmth and tactility, along with striking floor tiles and light fittings for a contemporary feel. Work is ongoing in this home with our studio, bringing the living rooms, bedrooms, and bathroom up to date.
